This weekend sees the European Duathlon Championships taking place in Rimini, Italy. We have strong memories of the 2001 World Duathlon Championships there -- mainly because we landed to watch the Twin Towers collasing on the airport TV sets but also because of the stupendous medal haul that the GB team brought home. Here's hoping that we can achieve a repeat of the latter -- nobody wants to see anything like the 9/11 attacks again!
