Before all the excitement of the World Champs we mentioned that it was Powerman Austria last weekend as well -- and then we promptly forgot about it... Joerie Vansteelant (BEL) not only won but did so in a new course record of 3:07:20 in what was effectively a solo race. Distant second place went to Karl Prungraber (AUT) in 3:20:25 with Hans Fischer Mogensen (DEN) third in 3:23:16. Michelle Parsons missed out on the win and placed second behind Sine Gasbjerg (DEN) with Solveig von der Fecht (GER). Parsons' second place did, however, give her enough points to top the Powerman World Ranking and is now in the lead ahead of Erika Csomor (HUN). More results on their website: www.powerman.at
