The BTA have just announced that they have invited Human Race to host the Elite Championships at this year's Royal Windsor Triathlon on June 11th. The event will also stage the Under 23 Championships and will act as an elite qualifier for the ITU World Cup at Salford on July 31st.

John Lunt, Director of Human Race, said "It is a great honour to be invited to stage the Elite Championships. We look forward to welcoming the British Elites to Windsor and to give all of our age-group competitors and spectators the opportunity to watch Britain's finest triathletes in action." In recent years Windsor has been voted the BTA's Event of the Year no less than six times and has seen some great elite action. Sold out in January with a capacity field of 2,300 age groupers it's certainly going to be the main event in a crowded domestic Summer calendar. For more details see the Human Race website.
