The BBC is planning its second series of Last Man Standing which looks at the the indigenous sports of eight very different communities, from the Arctic to the Amazon, from Africa to Asia. The idea is to take six athletes from the UK and the USA and have them live in the community, learn the particular sport and then compete. The first series has already been filmed and is due for transmission in the middle of the year. If anyone is interested in taking part in the second series and can be free to go on a series of adventures from Easter 2007 for 24 weeks of the next 52 please get in touch with the BBC at Last Man Standing – Room 5525, BBC White City 201, Wood Lane, London W12 7TS or email Last_Man_Standing@bbc.co.uk
