![]() Route planning: an introduction Posted on: Friday 9th February 2007 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend This part of the site is all about how planning and preparation can help with getting more information from your training sessions and how technology, if used appropriately, can make that easier and more fun. We’ll be explaining how to use all sorts of clever technology from heart rate monitors and GPS devices through to online training logs and mapping systems. There’s plenty of room for you to contribute as well: we would love to see examples of killer sessions and classic routes from age groupers and professionals alike. So, if you want to move beyond jotting a few notes in a diary about doing a 10k run and get into some serious data collection and analysis this is the section to keep an eye on. We’ll even be running the occasional competition so you can win some of the kit we’ll be describing. |
