New European wetsuit brand, Sailfish, have signed up with Triangle Events as their official wetsuit partner for all four of their European events: Ironman Austria, Ironman France, Austria Ironman 70.3 and Monaco Ironman 70.3. Triangle also manage the Ironman race in South Africa but this doesn't seem to have been included in the deal, presumably because the company is concentrating on building itself from a European base.

The Sailfish business is run by Jan Sibbersen, well known on the Ironman circuit for his speed in the water, and the suits are named after the sailfish, reputedly the fastest fish in the water. The new wetsuits are claimed to have have three distinctive characteristics: their incomparable flexibility, their outstanding buoyancy and the use of the best materials available in the market. There are three suits in the range: the €525 One, the €425 Attack and the €325 Vibrant. In terms of pro sonsorship, Nicole and Lothar Leder have already signed to the company.
