The Blackwater Charity Triathlon is being held on Sunday 16th September in aid of the Local Farleigh Hospice Centre. In previous years the race has raised several thousand pounds which have been donated to Local Charities. This year we hope to do the same. Two races are available to athletes; a novice race consisting of a 200m pool based swim, 12km cycle and a 3km run. We also have a sprint race which is double the distance at 400m swim, 24km cycle and a 6km run.

The event is being held at the Blackwater Leisure Centre, Park Drive, Maldon. The cycle course uses the local country roads and the run course goes through the local Promenade Park alongside the River Blackwater. Further details and entry forms are available at www.blackwatertri.org.uk
