A couple of months back we reported that it looked as though the ITU's World Cup race in Mooloolaba was unlikely to happen again - unless someone coughed up a significant chunk of funding to underwrite the event. Well, guess what? According the Sunshine Coast Daily the local council has stumped up AUS$100,000 to ensure the race's future until at least 2010.
