Help a British design Posted on: Thursday 20th September 2007 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend Richard Melik, a member of the Serpentine Club, is one of the five finalists in a competition to design a set of kit for the Slipstream Pro cycling team for 2008. The argyle pattern and colours were prerequisites (odd tastes, these Americans...) but other than that the designers had a free reign. Richard's design has embraced the argyle pattern, rather than playing it down, and is certainly very striking. If it wins you'll be seeing David Millar and the rest of the team wearing it next year. And you can help influence that by voting foe Richard's design on the Slipstream website (slipstreamsports.com) but do hurry as all votes must be in by Friday. |
