![]() Profeet celebrate store #3 Posted on: Friday 5th October 2007 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend Profeet, the specialist custom-engineered shoe insert people, held an open day this week to celebrate their third store opening in Clapham South. Astute readers may note that the store actually opened a few weeks ago but, as Danny Orr, the store's manager said, they just hadn't had time to have the party until now! Tri247 went along and we'll be bringing you a report soon about just what custom-engineered shoe inserts mean and how they can help with both injury prevention and rehabilitation. It's an interesting concept and a step beyond the basic orthotic that so many of us are familiar with. The concept is just as applicable to cyclists as it is to runners or walkers - although it's obviously a different insert in each case. The proceedings were graced by Will Clarke who got himself sorted out with a set of inserts and we'll be covering his progress over the next couple of months as well as that of our in-house guinea pig to see what the results are. Profeet now have two stores dedicated to running shoes; the Clapham South branch on Balham Hill and the one in Fulham Road plus there's a store dedicated to ski boot fitting in New Kings Road. All the shops work on an appointment basis for the fittings so contact them via their website for more information: www.profeet.co.uk ![]()
