Day 5: get bike fitted Posted on: Wednesday 5th December 2007 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend By now we hope you'll have read the feature on bike fitting and it's this that forms the basis of our present suggestion for today. Getting properly fitted, or even re-fitted, for your bike will get you set up for some serious winter training, secure in the knowledge that you're in the right position to develop the best power. A bike fitting session can be as little a £35 and many bike shops will refund that if the process leads to a frame or bike sale, but we're hoping that your current steed just needs a bit of tweaking rather than replacing. Of course, once you're in the bike shop there will be all sorts of other temptations for you; perhaps some new tribars to go with that corrected position or a new saddle to relieve those tender parts? |
