OK, so Christmas is a time for excess - like it or not - and that means that pretty much everyone needs just a little bit of bling to make their present list complete. As far as triathletes are concerned there's plenty of bling stuff out there; pretty much anything made of carbon fibre or titanium would start to fall into that category! But no, what we are talking about here is personal bling, stuff you can wear or use both while you're being a triathlete and while you're being a normal person... ...no, that doesn't work -- this is just triathlete stuff for use all the time!

Probably the #1 brand that springs to mind is Oakley, that simple little logo just gets everywhere these days, and of all the cool stuff that they have added to the collection this year the new Radar and FlakJacket glasses would probably fit nicely into anyone's gift list. Whatever it was that they came up with to coat the lenses on these two models with so that they shed water and road slime so effectively is undoubtedly a trade secret but it really, really does work. So well, in fact, that Tri247's review pair of Radars has now become a permanent fixture in the Editor's wife's kitbag - which saves the old Scrooge from having to buy her a present this year...
