Former British Triathlon Federation women's head coach, Chris Jones, is set to join forces with the triathlon and multisport coaching professionals, TheTriathlonCoach.com. He is due to start in February and will become the sixth coach in what is already a formidable line up.

Commenting on the appointment, Simon Ward expressed his delight saying, ''Chris is one of the best triathlon coaches in the world and joining us is an endorsement of what we are trying to achieve at TTC''.

Jones recently resigned from his British Triathlon position and sees this as an opportunity to put something back into the sport. He is looking forward to working with age group athletes again alongside a number of the coaches with whom he worked at British Triathlon.

Speaking about the new arrangement he said, ''I have the utmost respect for Simon Ward and Jack Maitland. We have known each other for a long time and regularly swapped ideas and information. Joining TTC provides an exciting opportunity for me to continue to be involved with triathlon and work on some exciting new projects''.
