Ceepo bikes launch in UK Posted on: Wednesday 30th January 2008 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend You could be forgiven for thinking that Ceepo is just another 'out of the same mould' carbon fibre bike brand, but the reality is slightly different. Designed in Japan by an ex-age group athlete, Tanaka Nobuyuki, they have gone from a curiosity in 2003 to having nearly 30 bikes in the Hawaii Ironman transition area in 2007, which would have put them 15th on the manufacturers list behind Guru if they had been included in the count. Ceepo have two models; their top-of-the-line Venom and the Stinger which has a different carbon mix to reduce the cost. Both are triathlon-specific designs and have all the aero features that you could want; faired-in rear wheel, aero-profiled tubing, internal cable routing and more besides. The brand is being launched at TCR08 by Triathlon Consultants - aka Mike and Rieko Trees who also distribute 2XU in the UK - and will be displayed on the Sigma Sport and Total Fitness (Nottingham) stands.
