This is an absolute JOKE!!! Irish my arse! Funny how you're Irish all of a sudden on an Olympic year! This is a disgrace and should not be allowed by Tri Ireland. Something needs to be done about this!

Just for the record, Emma really has just as much right to be in the Irish squad as a lot of GB athletes with Australian accents have to be racing for this country. Her mother is Irish to start with! The rules were scrupulously followed - in fact she had to wait a year longer than she should have before British Triathlon would release which is why she raced under ITU colours for a year.

Emma deserves everything she is competing in and i wish her loads of luck in the Olympics! I know Emma as she still belongs to my swimming club and everyone is supporting her the whole way. Go for it Emma!
