Ful-On Tri Club had its first formal training session on 10th April 2003, and so will be celebrating its fifth birthday this week. From humble beginnings - a few friends getting together, going on a Bill Black training course, then forming a club - Ful-On has grown exponentially and now has over 200 active full members, with over 500 website registrations.

In a second reason to celebrate, Ful-On Tri has become the first London club (along with Crystal Palace) to achieve British Triathlon's STAR Accreditation. This is a mark of excellence awarded to a club for all aspects of its operation; management, coaching, equity, ethics, health and safety and means increased access to funds both for the club and for the London region.

Celebrations will be taking place at The Chancery on Lillie Road, Fulham, from 9pm on Thursday 10th April.

Places are still available for the inaugural Ful-On Duathlon at Chertsey MOD Test Track in Surrey on Saturday 26th April. See the club's website for details.
