The Llanrwst Sprint Triathlon is a fun and friendly event, held in the market town of Llanrwst located in the beautiful Conwy Valley, North Wales on Sunday 31st August 2008. The event is over a 400m pool swim, fast and scenic 25km bike through the Conwy Valley and a 5km out and back run into the Gwydir Forest. All money raised by the race, which is now in its third year and is organised by Carneddau Triathlon Club, goes straight to the Hope House/Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice, which provides respite care for terminally ill children living in the North Wales area.
