![]() Philip Graves: UK Ironman 70.3 video interview Posted on: Friday 31st July 2009 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend | Post A Comment This weekend sees the first running of the TriUK Ironman UK from its new home of Bolton. Defending champion Stephen Bayliss from TeamTBB (www.teamTBB.com) will be back to defend the title he won in Sherborne last year. He may however have a tough race in store from an athlete from another dedicated triathlon development team. Philip Graves from Team ActivInstinct (www.teamactivinstinct.com) may be just 20 years old, but has already proved this year he is one of the fastest triathletes - possibly in the world - on two wheels, and he put that bike speed to good use when taking the UK Ironman 70.3 title at Wimbleball in June. After that win, Simon Ward (www.thetriathloncoach.com) took on the Tri247 interviewer role, and spoke to Phil about his race, his plans for the future and why he thinks a sub four hour Ironman bike split is quite possible... You can also read Phil's pre-race thoughts for Bolton in his blog HERE.
We will bring you some more videos from Wimbleball tomorrow and Sunday. ![]()
