Rose and Annis will bring an extra dimension to the camp, providing world-class advice in terms of physiotherapy, sports massage, core conditioning and injury avoidance and management tips, which is normally only the preserve of world-class athletes.

Rose has been working as a physiotherapist in sports for the last 16 years. She has worked with UK Athletics as a consultant since 2000, working at the Olympics with athletics in 2000, 2004 and 2008. She is credited with helping to keep Kelly Holmes injury-free in the two years leading up to the Athens Olympics in 2004, helping her to double Olympic gold in the 800m and 1500m. She is currently working with Jessica Ennis, the double World Champion in the heptathlon. In addition to athletics, Rose works with a wide variety of sports, supporting international athletes in diving, squash, and triathlon, as well as athletes from swimming, cycling, football, and rugby. Annis has been working as a sports physiotherapist for over five years at the Carnegie Sports Physiotherapy Clinic. During this time she has also worked with the Great Britain Volleyball Team and UK Athletics and the Great Britain Triathlon Team on a contract basis.

Both physio experts join the coaching and support team which includes; Richard Allen, pro triathlete and head coach; Ryan Bowd, an experienced Ironman, coach and camp manager; and Tonya Allen, assistant coach.

The camp has been designed as an all-round pre-season triathlon camp and is split between the opportunity to train hard with expert advice and to relax and enjoy the resort with family or friends who may accompany you to the resort. The program covers all essential parts of pre season triathlon training such as open water swimming, transition skills, brick workouts, interval workouts, long aerobic workouts, core stability workouts and a sprint tri race at the end of the week. In addition guests will get a one-2-one coaching session with one of the coaches to help with their technique or planning their training and schedule, as well as one-2-one physiotherapy and sports massage sessions.

Rose comments; " The R’n’R camp is unique in its ability to provide both a relaxed environment for training and recuperation. This will be my third visit to Sivota. There is little opportunity for open water swimming in the UK but here it is a completely different experience."

Her comments echo those of first timer, Angela Patterson, who went on the camp this year, she comments: “Having decided to do my first triathlon this year, I felt that immersing myself in the sport on a week’s camp would be the best way to get some top tips! After spending some time on the internet researching the subject and asking around, I came across the R’N’R Tri Camp in Sivota, Greece and consequent correspondence convinced me that this was the best choice! And I wasn’t disappointed.
