If you watched the ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi on Friday, you may well have noticed Jonathan Brownlee riding a new SCOTT bike with disc brakes – the SCOTT Foil Premium Disc.

The Foil disc is the latest incarnation of the SCOTT Foil and we took the opportunity while at SCOTT’s UK HQ recently to have a look around the bike that the Brownlee’s will be riding and racing in draft-legal formats this year.

The later you brake the longer you can keep your speed. We gain speed and performance not only with aerodynamics and increased power output but also with braking performance.
