MP Fast Jammers

The Michael Phelps and Aqua Sphere collaboration continues to push out some interesting swim gear and we have been out testing their latest offering, the MP Fast jammers.

The MP Fast jammers are available in sizes 30 to 38 inch waist and are 42cm (16.5 inches) in length. They feature a comfortable inner lining (9% Elastane and 91% Polyester) for durability and modesty and a decent length waist draw string that will be hard to lose around the inside of the waistband which is one of life’s frustrating little challenges, re-threading that draw string can be very annoying!

The jammers are constructed from an Aqua Infinity fabric which is breathable with a quoted UV50+ protection and made from a polyester blend (47% P.B.T. and 53% Polyester) that offers you maximum chlorine resistance for over 200 hours of swimming with an advanced durable fabric elasticity to keep their shape. So far the shorts have survived several washing machine tests and all is well!

The design of the shorts is quite subtle (in comparison with some of the recent pool attire available) with some bolder accent detailing to add good interest. The shorts are made of multiple panels of fabric and the stitching looks solid as you would expect from a brand like MP. As a training short these offer a stylish solution and good value with these being available for around £40.

In the water they were very comfortable and and performed well with dives and tumble turns. Out of the water they looked the part and felt like a premium product, as you would expect they were quick to dry. These jammers are highly recommended.
