The abridged 2020 Pro racing season closed out with Great Britain’s George Goodwin winning the Outlaw X triathlon, followed by a career-best, headline-grabbing podium finish at the PTO 2020 Championship, Challenge Daytona. It looks like George, along with the other Ribble-sponsored triathletes will benefit from the joy of ‘new bike day’ in early 2021, as their flagship Triathlon bike, the ULTRA TRI has been upgraded to include the increasingly familiar disc brakes.

Here are the details on todays announcement along with imagery and the range of builds on offer, direct from Ribble Cycles (www.ribblecycles.co.uk)

Ribble ULTRA TRI DISC  – The Ultimate Tri Bike

Ribble Cycles have upgraded their ULTRA TRI with Hydraulic Disc Brakes.

The award and title winning, Kona top-10 finishing ULTRA TRI platform has been upgraded with frame modifications to include disc brakes and stealth colourway. The ULTRA TRI DISC is an uncompromising, speed-centric platform that allows triathletes to reach their full potential. Innovative, aerodynamically efficient and tech-loaded, it’s a speed machine that delivers a clear competitive advantage.

Removeable storage boxes and integrated hydration system enhances aerodynamics whilst giving the triathlete access to essential fluids and nutrition on the move.

Front end adjustability combined with a multi position seat post enables a dialed in fit and aerodynamically optimised riding position and the addition of disc brakes ensures powerful and uncompromised braking performance, all working together to create a world-class superbike.
