British athletes set to look smart in Hawaii

Sponge Marketing is proud to announce that Fusion UK will manufacture and design this year’s GB Kona T-shirts for all age-grouper qualifiers.

The custom-made T-shirts will be distributed free of charge at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, Kona at 8am on Tuesday 10th October ahead of the highly anticipated Parade of Nations taking place later that day.

Thanks to Fusion UK, Multisport Distribution and Blade Printing Services, all Kona qualified (including Legacy) GB athletes for this year’s Ironman World Championships are eligible for a free custom-made Fusion C3 GB Kona 2017 T-shirt, retail price £40. Sponsoring the T-shirts and in turn wishing the GB team the best of luck are sponsors Triathlon Guard, Unit Nutrition and ETE TriCamps.

In addition to sponsoring the T-shirts, Unit Nutrition – a new nutrition brand that will also be launching in Kona – is inviting all GB athletes for a group swim followed by a talk with hall of fame swimmer, Karlyn Pipes, giving her tips and advice on the swim course. This will take place straight after the t-shirt distribution on the beach front of the hotel.

ETE TriCamps will be giving away a free trip to one lucky GB athlete. ETE TriCamps prides itself on offering exceptional coaching and camps to athletes of all abilities.

Triathlon Guard, developed in consultation with triathletes as well as those who work in the triathlon industry to provide insurance that works for you, is offering all GB athletes a 10% discount. The code to activate the discount will be posted on the closed GB Facebook group.
