It’s Dey’s Day at Super League Triathlon Jersey 2018

Erin Wallace dominates Junior Women’s race

The second edition of Super League Triathlon Jersey got underway on Saturday morning with the Elite Junior races, women starting first.

Racing in an (almost) ‘Enduro’ format, the athletes completing two back-to-back swim/bike/run triathlons with only a few minutes break in between. Positions from race one would provide (small) start advantages going into race 2, with the top-3 across the line in the second race the overall winners.

Great Britain’s Marcus Dey pushed the bike hard early in race two, built himself a decent lead and never looked back to cross the line a clear winner.

I managed to grab a few minutes with Marcus after his race, “It was an absolutely amazing experience…” was how he summed it up.
