Trevor Foley broke the course record at IRONMAN Lake Placid to take his first full distance win and punch his ticket to the IRONMAN World Championship on the Big Island of Hawaii in October.

On his way to victory, he reeled in Matthew Marquardt on the run and posted a phenomenal 2:36:31 marathon on his way to taking the victory.

In third place, Lionel Sanders successfully completed his first IRONMAN in over 18 months, and qualified to join Foley and Marquardt in Kona later this year.
