Supertri’s new-look Pro Series Final will take place in Jersey on September 6 as an all-star cast of athletes, including Olympic champions Alex Yee and Cassandra Beaugrand, do battle for a share of the $800,000 purse.

The largest single-day prize fund on offer in triathlon this season has attracted some of the biggest names of short-course competition, with Briton Yee due to line up against Australian WTCS champion Matt Hauser and German Tim Hellwig, who won Paris gold in the mixed relay.

French star Beaugrand headlines a women’s field that also includes the sport’s most decorated Olympian, Georgia Taylor-Brown (GBR), and European champions Jeanne Lehair (LUX) and Jolien Vermeylen (BEL).

Returning to its spiritual home

This year’s Pro Series Final is the culmination of a revamped format in which athletes compete as individuals across three qualifying events. The top three finishers per gender at each qualifier earn a place on the start line in Jersey, racing alongside Supertri’s all-star line-up.

The Channel Island of Jersey holds a special place in the hearts of all connected with Supertri, as it was the venue of the format’s first-ever full outing back in 2017. That one-off event became a series the following year, and the island has since hosted races in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2025.

“This is a huge year for Supertri as we truly unify professional and amateur racing,” said Michael D’hulst, CEO and Co-Founder of Supertri. “Our new Pro Series is the very pinnacle of short-course racing, and we cannot think of a better stage for the final than Supertri’s spiritual home of Jersey. The stakes have never been higher, and the field reflects that.”

The Pro Series Final will be raced over the iconic Supertri format, with three back-to-back rounds of swim, bike and run.

Strong connection with Jersey

It takes place within a wider weekend of endurance sport on the island, with Swim Run Jersey opening proceedings on the Saturday morning and the JSAC Hearty Half Marathon, in support of Jersey Heart Support Group, preceding Sunday afternoon’s triathlon, creating back-to-back competition for fans and fitness enthusiasts.

David Kennedy, CEO of Jersey Sport, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Supertri back to Jersey in 2026. Our island has quickly become a popular destination within the Supertri series, and much of that success comes down to the strong connection the athletes build with our community whenever they visit.

“The event is always an opportunity to show off Jersey at its best to the world of sport and to inspire people locally by bringing world-class competition right to our doorstep. We look forward to building on the success of previous years and once again creating lasting experiences for both participants and spectators across the island.”

Supertri will partner again with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) to support RBC Race for the Kids, the mass participation charity fun run that drew close to 1,000 entrants in 2025. UBS Global Wealth Management also continues as official partner, with further announcements to follow in the coming weeks.

A full Pro start list, with more big names promised, will be released at a later date.
