Breaking news... the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship is coming back to Europe. Nice, France has just been confirmed as the venue for 2019.

IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship to return to Europe in 2019

2017 – Chattanooga, USA
2018 – Port Elizabeth, South Africa

2019 – NICE, FRANCE

 

More soon, but this has just been announced in the last few minutes.

  • 5000 – 6000 athletes expected
  • Will be held over two days

This will be the second edition of the championship in Europe, following Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria, in 2015.
