Active Training World Ltd are delighted to announce that they have agreed the purchase of Dengie Events. Dengie events organises Big East Triathlon, Maldon Triathlon, Fambridge Yacht Haven Half Iron Triathlon, and the Tour of Dengie cycling sportive. 

James Shipley, MD of Active Training World says, “We are delighted to be adding Dengie Events to our growing portfolio. We know that Dengie organises fantastic triathlon and cycling sportive events and we are excited to be continuing these events into 2021 and beyond.”

Jamie Cooper, Dengie Events says, “Now was the right time to be selling Dengie Events. I was looking for a buyer that I know will continue to grow the events, uphold their reputation and deliver fantastic events. I know in James and his team I have found safe hands and I’m excited to see how the events evolve.”

Dengie Events in 2021 will be on the following dates;

  • Big East Triathlon – 6th June
  • Tour of Dengie Sportive – 6th June
  • Fambridge Yacht Haven Triathlon – 4th July, 
  • Maldon Triathlon – 1st August.
