2020 saw multiple events across the sporting calendar cancelled, but now premier swimming and triathlon brand Aqua Sphere is looking forward to 2021 and to regenerating its partnership with Always Aim High Events

AAH is the team behind the UK’s most beautiful and iconic triathlon series which comprises the Cardiff Triathlon, the Harlech Triathlon and the Adventure Championship encompassing the Slateman, Snowman and Sandman triathlons.

As well as being the official swimming brand to these award winning events, Aqua Sphere is also the title sponsor to the Aqua Sphere Snowman Swim, part of the popular Snowman weekend at Capel Curig, Snowdonia. This open water event proved so popular prior to 2020 that similar events are being introduced in 2021 to enhance the Slateman and Cardiff weekends and swimmers can choose from a range of distances depending on their swimming aims, objectives and abilities.

Aqua Sphere Snowman Swim

The Adventure Championships consists of three stunning and unforgettable mixed terrain triathlons; The Slateman, The Snowman and The Sandman and completing this series is a goal for every triathlete and a once in a lifetime experience. Open to all, from beginners to elite, there are four distances – sprint, standard, savage and legend, and these beautiful weekends are known for their welcoming feel and family friendly atmosphere.

Aqua Sphere’s commitment to continue its relationship with AAH underlines it’s dedication to encourage people of all ages and abilities to take the plunge and experience the joy of open water swimming, and its award winning goggles, masks and wetsuits are ideal to meet the needs of open water enthusiasts at every level.

Tim Lloyd, Director at AAH, says “2020 has been an extremely difficult year for many within the sporting events industry and here at Always Aim High Events we have had to reschedule all bar one of our events in what would have been our 10-year anniversary. The team have been working hard behind the scenes to come back bigger and stronger in 2021 and we are so proud to be continuing our longstanding relationship with Aqua Sphere. After one of our most challenging years in business, now more than ever it is so important for us to work alongside our highly our regarded partners and Aqua Sphere’s enthusiasm for outdoor swimming and the team’s trusted kit knowledge and experience is a perfect fit for us. We can’t wait to get back to working with them on our 2021 Triathlons and Swim events.”

Many of those who entered 2020 events have chosen to defer their entry to 2021 and there are a range of further places available for anyone wishing to try something new or set themselves a new tri goal.
