Sunday 10th September 2017: Blackwater Charity Triathlon

Blackwater Charity Novice and Sprint Triathlon is in its 15 year; organised by Blackwater Triathlon Club. We have raised a substantial amount of money during this time, with all proceeds going towards our nominated charity.

Join over 200 athletes for this race to raise money for Georgia’s Teenage Cancer Appeal, a local charitable foundation in Essex who’s principle goal is to improve the lives of children and young adults in Essex suffering from Cancer and other life threatening and life limiting conditions.

The two distances; Novice Distance: 200m swim (pool), 12km bike, 3km run and Sprint Distance: 400m swim (pool), 23km bike, 6km run. The event is based at Blackwater Leisure Centre, Maldon, Essex.

Entry fee regardless of distance is £38 inclusive of race license via Entry Central. The bike course is largely flat with three minor gradients on quiet country roads and the run course takes athletes into the Promenade Park a great place for family and friends to spectate during the race and visit afterwards.
