We are delighted to announce that Chrissie Wellington will be joining us in store, alongside Vassos Alexander, to discuss her latest book: To The Finish Line.

Chrissie is the world’s number 1 female Ironman triathlete, a four times World Champion and the World Record holder in the triathlon. In 2009 she was voted ‘Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year’ and in 2010 she was awarded the MBE. She is the undefeated champion of the triathlon, having won thirteen Ironman titles from thirteen races.

To The Finish Line is Chrissie’s wisdom distilled into an honest, inspirational, and practical resource for all aspiring triathletes. Conveyed with her inimitable wit, honesty and charisma, Chrissie tackles everything from nutrition and lifestyle to the specifics of transition techniques to allow anyone and everyone to learn from the best.

“What amazes me about Chrissie Wellington is not that she wins, but by how much […] Like Usain Bolt, Wellington… burst on to the scene and destroyed the opposition.” James Cracknell
