IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth… it’s on

20th September 2020 is planned for 70.3 Weymouth

It looks like another large-scale, British middle distance race may well make it to the start line in 2020. The second edition of Outlaw X will take place on Sunday 27th September, and a week earlier, it looks like IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth could be the sole survivor from the IRONMAN UK & Ireland Tour, based on an update just published on their Facebook page:

Following ongoing consultation with Weymouth Town Council and Dorset Council, we are happy to share that the IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth is still planned to take place on September 20, 2020. Our team is hard at work to ensure a great racing experience in the safest possible environment while following the direction and recommendations of public health agencies and local authorities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to thank our athletes for being part of our IRONMAN Community and look forward to welcoming them to the race.
