It might seem a long way off to be planning Christmas, but how about ending your season with a stunning 3.8km swim, then embark on a flat 180km bike course beside the ocean to finally take on a 42.2km run course along the coastline.

Argentina’s Mar del Plata will host it’s first Ironman on December 3rd 2017.

The area has hosted many spotting events from marathons and rugby to the FIFA World Cup. Have a look at their video to see why you might want to taking in some winter sun in a truly stunning part of the world.
