IRONMAN UK & Ireland Tour 2018

Following on from our look back at the 2017 season for IRONMAN UK & Ireland, we wanted to have a look to see what 2018 will bring.

If you want to race on home soil then you have six races to choose from; four IRONMAN 70.3 and two full IRONMAN distance events:

  • IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire – 10th June 2018 (4th edition of the event).
  • IRONMAN 70.3 Edinburgh – 1st July 2018 (2nd edition of the event).
  • IRONMAN UK, Bolton – 15th July 2018 (14th edition of IRONMAN UK, 10th edition at Bolton).
  • IRONMAN 70.3 Dun Laoghaire – 19th August 2018 (1st edition of Dun Laoghaire)
  • IRONMAN Wales – 9th September 2018 (7th edition of the event).
  • IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth – 23rd September 2018 (3rd edition of the event).

What you need to know

There have been a few changes to some of the events, Ireland’s 70.3 has a new base and name: IRONMAN 70.3 Dublin is now IRONMAN 70.3 Dun Laoghaire. Dún Laoghaire was previously the swim base for IRONMAN 70.3 Dublin and will now provide a home to the whole event. Here is the full announcement: IRONMAN 70.3 Dún Laoghaire, Ireland announced.
