Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is (officially) postponed

It will still be called 'Tokyo 2020', but if the Olympic and Paralympic Games are to take place in Tokyo, it will be in 2021 - confirmed today

To the surprise of nobody – and surely the only realistic course of action possible in the current situation – the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games has been postponed, “to a date beyond 2020 but not later than summer 2021, to safeguard the health of the athletes, everybody involved in the Olympic Games and the international community.”

This will also apply to the Paralympic Games:
