The Golden Thread Ball 2017 – last chance for tickets
Being held this coming Saturday, 4th November 2017, in central London the Golden Thread Ball (www.goldenthreadball.co.uk) promises a night of glamour in the stunning 1930s art deco Banking Hall – all in support of the Triathlon Trust (www.triathlontrust.org) and Starlight (www.starlight.org.uk).
The honour guests and speakers include Louise Minchin, Lauren Steadman and Fiona Thornewill MBE (the first woman to have skied to the geographical North and South Poles). If you fancy a night out with a ‘Black Tie with a touch of gold’ dress code – while supporting two great charities – here is your chance… but be quick!
The Golden Thread Ball 2017 will be held at the exquisite Banking Hall, located in the prestigious Square Mile of Central London. The Grade II-listed main hall was designed in the 1930s and has a unique art deco charm. With majestic towering marble columns and a mezzanine level that looks out over the Bank of England, this timeless venue is sure to set the ambience of a grand and memorable evening.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary drinks. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer as you browse our exclusive collection of money-can’t-buy prizes and merchandise that will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Wander along the art deco balcony and Imperial staircase to reach the main hall. Here, you will be treated to a lavish three-course classic British meal with a contemporary twist and a matching quintessential wine. You will hear about the unfathomable achievements our charities have accomplished and be dazzled by a 1920s-themed prohibition dance show.
There will also be an opportunity to take a memento home from our highly anticipated live auction, presented by Fiona Thornewill MBE.
