Business Manager (Full-Time, Immediate Start)

Bikeworks Derby/Webuycycle I Derby I Salary: Competitive but Negotiable DOE

Hours: Negotiable

To manage Bikeworks Derby’s cycle shop and staff team
To market Bikeworks Derby as a leading bike servicing centre and retailer of new and approved used road/MTB/TT bikes
To market Webuycycle as a premier bike buying service in the UK

Essential Requirements:

A person of integrity, reliable, organised and highly motivated
Ability to manage a retail unit and personnel, schedule work/hours etc for staff
Previous experience in the retail sector (bike industry experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to build strong relationships with the business partners and to identify opportunities for growth for both Bikeworks and Webuycycle
Ability to deal with sales, processing of new and approved used stock
Maintenance of accounts, stock control etc
Experience in Marketing/PR
Team player able to support and manage staff and report regularly to directors
Good communication skills and accuracy with written material
Confident in the use of all social media platforms as a vehicle for business development
Proficient in the use of MS Office programs and Excel
Experience in the cycling industry and mechanical knowledge is preferred but enthusiastic applicants without this experience should not be deterred from making an application. We are looking for a driven individual who can promote both businesses and take them to the next level.
