Laura Siddall
Laura Siddall is a former professional triathlete, multiple long distance champion, commentator, coach and mentor in the sport.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Laura was living and working in Australia when she first decided to give triathlon a go in 2007. She raced for several years as an age-grouper, before turning professional in 2014 at the age of 34. Since making that leap into the world of pro triathlon, she’s been no stranger to the podium at major races including multiple Ironman and half Ironman distance wins and a top 10 finish in Kona. Off the race course, ‘Sid’ quite quickly became a well-respected voice and advocate for the sport and in recent years she’s been voted on to the PTO athlete board, worked alongside the Women’s Sports Trust and set up mentoring schemes to help young female triathletes.
