Post-race chat with Zaferes, Kasper and Taylor-Brown at SLT Jersey

Two great days of racing at the second edition Super League Triathlon Jersey concluded on Sunday afternoon, with the USA’s Katie Zaferes producing a dominant performance over the Enduro format to retain the title she won last year. After Saturday’s racing (HERE), she told us she was a little slow to start and then improved through the rounds of the Triple Mix. no such issues on Sunday, where she was in fine form right from the start and never looked liked doing anything but taking the win.

Shortly after the presentations, I spoke to Katie, along with Enduro second place finisher, Kirsten Kasper and Great Britain’s Georgia Taylor-Brown about their experience. Fourth place on Sunday and fourth overall, Georgia was the highest placed British athlete over the weekend in what has been a remarkable season for the Leeds-based athlete.
