13 GB Age-Group Team Long Distance Euro Champs medals in Holland

Continuing their partnership with the Challenge Family of events, the European Triathlon Union (ETU) held their 2017 Long Distance European Championships at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam on Saturday. One of the oldest triathlon events in Europe, the big headline from a Great Britain perspective was the Elite Gold medal from Joe Skipper – his second ‘Sub-8’ over the distance – but, as always, the Great Britain Age-Group team travelled in significant numbers and were rewarded with a total of 13 podium finishes.
