The Brownlee brothers have announced their team for a spectacular 2024 supertri season as they embark on an exciting new venture.

After more than a decade of being triathlon superstars on course, their goal now is now to develop British talent as well. And their eight-strong Brownlee Racing team is a tantalising mix of youth and experience.

The new franchise owners announced a roster headed by Olympics stars Alex Yee and Beth Potter on Friday, along with the returning Tokyo 2021 gold medallist Jess Learmonth.

Potter and Learmonth are joined by younger talent in Jess Fullagar and Olivia Mathias while the men’s line-up sees Jonny Brownlee and Yee take star billing with the much-hyped youngster Connor Bentley getting a chance to race the world’s elite in a full series, as well as Sergio Baxter Cabrera, the Yorkshire-based athlete who represents Spain internationally.

While Jonny Brownlee is taking a player/manager role in terms of overseeing proceedings, he will be leaving the full management duties on the ground to Non Stanford, the former World and European champion who will guide the team at all supertri events in 2024.
