British Elite Sprint Distance Champions crowned at Blenheim Palace
A Blenheim win at the eighth attempt for Sophie Coldwell
With no Tri Liverpool event this year, the British Elite Sprint Triathlon Championships were held on Sunday as part of the popular Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon.
An in-form Sophie Coldwell was a class apart in the women’s race, taking a big win in her eighth race at Blenheim, while Rio 2016 Olympian, Gordon Benson, came out on top in a close finish at the front of the men’s Elite race.
