Every race weekend of next year’s IRONMAN Pro Series will include both men’s and women’s races as part of a new-look calendar that boasts seven new and returning venues while once again carrying an end-of-year bonus prize pool of $1.7m.

The M-dot brand has revealed a 2027 roster that will feature six full-distance events and ten 70.3 triathlons, stretching across Europe, Oceania and North America, while also including a race in the Middle East.

Points and prize money will remain the same as the Pro Series enters its fourth season.

Lanzarote added to schedule for first time

The new venues include IRONMAN Lanzarote, which is being added to the Pro Series calendar for the first time, while races in France, Germany, Oman, Spain, Sweden and Canada have also been added to the 70.3 list.

And every single event on the calendar will include races for both male and female professional athletes, with Frankfurt hosting both sexes for the first time since 2022.

We are particularly excited to welcome seven new races to the series in 2027 for another unforgettable year of racing.”

Early start with new race in Middle East

The series begins with the first of the new Pro Series venues, IRONMAN 70.3 Muscat, which will host the Middle East Championship in February, before IRONMAN New Zealand and 70.3 Geelong take place in March.

April sees the first trip to North America for 70.3 Oceanside and the IRONMAN Texas North American Championship, with the 70.3 Valencia race in Spain positioned between the two.

The month of May sees the iconic IRONMAN Lanzarote triathlon make its Pro Series debut before the series returns to North America for the 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley.

Racing splits across Europe and North America during the mid-season, with the 70.3 Tours Métropole – Loire Valley, 70.3 Mont-Tremblant, Canada, and the IRONMAN Frankfurt European Championship triathlons being the ninth, tenth and 11th events of the 2027 series.

All events to host both men’s and women’s races

Following Frankfurt, the series remains in Europe with the 70.3 Jönköping triathlon before returning to North America for the historic IRONMAN Lake Placid event, with the 70.3 Leipzig race the final event before the athletes enter championship season.

As previously announced, the 70.3 World Championships will be held in Chattanooga next year, while there will be six weeks between that race and the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona on October 9.

As with this year, all Pro Series races will be broadcast live and for free around the world on the brand’s YouTube channel.
