Saturday was another huge day in triathlon with a ton of top stories making the headlines. From Lucy Charles-Barclay making a dramatic last-ditch dash to German to Alistair Brownlee and Ruth Astle hitting the gravel in Gralloch.

Back on course we had Kona second Sam Laidlow being forced to DNF in Lanzarote after leading deep into the run.
