Siffert, Waugh, Findlay and GTB set for T100 showdown in Vancouver

The leading women in the T100 standings – Imogen Simmonds, Georgia Taylor-Brown and Alanis Siffert, plus home favourite Paula Findlay and defending T100 World Champion Kate Waugh – will line up for a spectacular showdown at next month’s Vancouver T100 Triathlon on 15 August, 2026.

Switzerland’s Simmonds heads the ‘Race to Qatar’ rankings after the opening two women’s races on the Gold Coast and in Spain while her compatriot Siffert will head to Vancouver off the back of an incredible victory at Challenge Roth, which saw her become the youngest ever winner of the iconic race at just 24-years-old.

Confidence boost

“Challenge Roth gave me a lot of confidence, and I feel like I have more cards to play on race day than I did at the beginning of the season,” said Siffert, in what is fast becoming a breakthrough season after she was also victorious in Shanghai and Zarauzko, as well as coming 10th in the Gold Coast T100 and fifth in the Spain T100 after a trademark surge on the bike saw her lead at the start of the run.

“But every race starts from zero. My focus is on executing the best race I can, staying in the fight, and competing against the best athletes in the world.

“That’s what I love most about the T100 Series. The level is incredibly high, and every race brings together the best athletes in the world. It pushes all of us to raise our level, and that’s exactly what motivates me. I’m excited to race in Vancouver and continue building on the progress we’ve made this season.”

GTB looking to double up

Siffert will be up against Simmonds and Taylor-Brown, the winner at the Spain T100 last time out in May.

“I had so much fun in Pamplona [for the Spain T100],” said the British Olympic Champion. “That result gave me the belief that I can win over this distance, so I will be going all out in Vancouver for another victory.”

The stunning Vancouver course will see 20 of the world’s leading female professionals do a 100km triathlon (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run), starting with a two lap 2km swim off Locarno Beach and then an 80km bike leg that sets off along Spanish Banks and does five laps taking in the University of British Columbia Campus. Finishing with an 18km run out and back along Locarno Beach and Spanish Banks Beach Park.

Canadian #1 Paula Findlay is another with designs on the victory after her ultra-impressive full-distance debut recently saw her win IRONMAN Lake Placid and she’s relishing being back racing the T100 in North America.

“I’m so excited for T100 returning to Vancouver,” said the Edmonton-born athlete. “Any time I race in Canada it feels like a home race, which always brings extra support and energy on course.”
