New date for 2021 British and Scottish Middle Distance Championship

Due to an unfortunate clash of dates with the Aberfeldy Highland Show, event organisers are moving the event back a week, from the 14/15th August to 21/22nd August 2021.

The date change will affect Drummond Hill 10km Runners and Loch Tay Swimmers on the Saturday of the festival and Middle Distance Triathletes on the Sunday. These events will now fall on the equivalent day the weekend after.

The team behind Aberfeldy Triathlon tried to find an alternative solution but unfortunately the combined use of roads with the Highland Show meant it was impossible for reasons of participant safety.

They have worked closely with British Triathlon and Triathlon Scotland to preserve the Championship status of the Aberfeldy Middle Distance Triathlon, which will be the British and Scottish Middle Distance Championships 2021.

These are extremely challenging times for the event industry and the organisers apologise for any inconvenience the date change may cause and look forward to welcoming competitors to stunning Highland Perthshire for an unforgettable experience on 21st and 22nd August 2021.
