After a brilliant debut in Nottingham in 2017 (more on that HERE), the Accenture British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup will return with a new venue on Saturday 4th August. With the Nottingham event now gaining World Triathlon Mixed Relay Series status (another great night, just a few weeks back), the Accenture backed British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup will be held on the evening of Saturday 4th August 2018, in conjunction with the AJ Bell London Triathlon.
With the Mixed Relay format providing such great viewing, put it in your diary now and get yourself down to the Excel Centre, London Docklands to take in the action. If you are racing at the AJ Bell London Triathlon, even more incentive to stick around after your own event on Saturday or be inspired to ahead of Sunday. With an early evening start, grab yourself a beer (or energy drink…), and support the teams from around the U.K, who will be joined by several international team entries too.
Leeds won last year – and the will be joined by six other squads from around the UK – as the first wave of entries in confirmed. Here are the full details from British Triathlon.

This is the first wave of announcements, with further British and international teams set to be added to the roster over the coming weeks.
The event, which sees British Triathlon’s Performance Centre squads from across Great Britain go head-to-head in the sport’s newest discipline, will take place in conjunction with the AJ Bell London Triathlon, organised by IMG on Saturday 4 August. Teams of two men and two women will join to form a mixed relay team, each completing a mini-triathlon before the iconic ‘tagging’ of their next teammate to take over. From a deep water start in the London Docklands, athletes will each complete a 300m swim, before taking on a 5.6km bike and 1.4km run around London’s Excel Centre.
The Accenture British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup made its debut last September on Nottingham’s Victoria Embankment, with five international teams also invited to join the line-up. Team Loughborough I took the runner-up spot, with Canada making it onto the podium to claim bronze.
