Polar Cannes International Triathlon returns in April 2018

Now regarded as one of the most popular middle distance events of the early season, the Polar Cannes International Triathlon will celebrate its fifth edition on 29th April 2018.

The event has attracted many of the world’s best athletes in recent years, with Jan Frodeno, Faris Al-Sultan, Leanda Cave, Sebastian Kienle and Andreas Raelert just a selection of the marquee names to have included the event as part of their early season racing schedule.

The event is also hugely popular with Age-Group triathletes, attracted to the stunning surrounds of Cannes. We visited the event ourselves in 2015 and would certainly sing its praises. Getting to and from Cannes (via Nice airport), really is very simple.

Once again, the 2018 race will feature distances of 2km / 100km / 16km, with a host of activities around the event including a triathlon expo
