Leading triathlon training camp provider, Challenge Tri Camp, have announced their newly formed partnership with Kumulus, the owners of the much anticipated Mallorca 140.6 and Half Distance event scheduled for Saturday 25th September 2021.

This new event, based in the triathletes paradise of Playa De Muro, is one of a number of events from Kumulus, who are based on the island of Mallorca and have already successfully delivered the Zafiro Palma Marathon, Portocolom Triathlon, Long Course Weekend, Powerman Mallorca Duathlon, Spartan Race Mallorca, Super League Triathlon and the last IRONMAN Mallorca back in 2016.

Challenge Tri Camp’s CEO Brent Perkins comments, “Our partnership with Kumulus and the Mallorca 140.6 & Half Distance confirms our commitment to the Island and brings a new and exciting challenge for us and our Challenge Tri Camp athletes. We love to race and coupled with our training camp programme based in the same location we know that our athletes will enjoy the prospect of competing at this event.

“The past year has been a difficult one for race organisers and we have had to postpone many of our camps, but we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and what better way to celebrate than with a great race and training camp to look forward to!”

David Thompson of Kumulus commented, “Challenge Tri Camp are renowned for their work in many aspects of triathlon, from camps to coaching, and their unrivalled knowledge of Mallorca and the training and racing here, made it an easy decision for us to form a partnership with them. We know that Challenge Tri Camp’s worldwide audience of triathletes will be very interested in this new event on the horizon.”

The event will offer athletes the option to race the full 140.6 distance as well as the Half Distance and relay options for both full and half distances.
