dryrobe proud to present the Outdoor Swimming Session at
Kendal Mountain Festival 2019
dryrobe are incredibly excited to be joining the 2019 Kendal Mountain Festival as the Presenting Partner of the Outdoor Swimming Session. Taking place bright and early on Sunday 17th November, the session will combine screening of films from the world of outdoor swimming plus tales of incredible adventures from inspiring characters.
The fantastic Colin Hill returns to Kendal to host the session for 2019 and share his infectious enthusiasm for outdoor swimming, plus the riotous Outdoor Swimmer Quiz of the Year is back, hosted by Jonathan Cowie and Ella Foote.
The full line up of speakers will be revealed very soon, but the amazing speakers confirmed so far include:
- Lindsey Cole takes us from Shetland to the Scilly Isles on her ‘Dipping Britain’ adventure. At the beginning of 2019 Lindsey cycled from Plymouth to the Scottish Cold Water Swimming Champs meeting swimming groups en route. High on adrenaline she decided to carry on, all over Britain – wherever she received a swim invite, she went!
- Inspired by Dan Duxbury’s Frog Graham Round film at the 2018 Outdoor Swimming Session, Kendal cyclist and swimmer Ben Dowman created the Frog Whitton Round – a 96 mile bike ride with 4 lake swims totalling 6 miles…
The Outdoor Swimming Session is shaping up to be a must see at Kendal Mountain Festival, Gideon Bright, dryrobe founder and Director, commented:
